A proof of status is required. It can be an official letter signed by the head of the University Department in which you are registered or a copy of valid student card. Please scan and attach when emailing this form. See attachments option below. Workshops that are fully booked will not be available. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS do not choose workshops yet. Early Bird Registrations will be notified first to choose workshops from the available workshops, on a first-come first-serve basis. ECOWEEK encourages local students to host visiting students at very low cost – upon availability only. Recommended hotel / hostel / camping accommodation may be posted in the ECOWEEK website as suggestions only and not included in registration fee. Reimbursement arrangements between host and hosted are at the discretion of the host and hosted. ECOWEEK does not play any role in this transaction. In principle, we recommend that the hosted pays the equivalent of the cost of registration that the host has paid. METHOD OF PAYMENT For your convenience, there are two methods to pay for your registration: (a) ONLINE CREDIT CARD payment: in EURO only. NOTICE: The name in the registration form must be the same as in the credit card. (b) BANK TRANDFER or DEPOSIT: In SHEKELS only / Exchange rate 1 Euro = 5 Shekels - To the following account:
Payable to: ECOWEEK – habits change climate change CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation of Registration should be made in writing to ECOWEEK. Please write to ecoweek@ecoweek.org.il. Cancellation written request received 60 days before the opening date of the conference will receive 50% of Registration fees paid (with the deduction of any bank transfer fees charged to ECOWEEK). For cancellations less than 60 days prior to the opening date of the conference, no refund will be made. EARLY BIRD Registration fees are non-refundable. COPYRIGHT With your registration to ECOWEEK you agree that this is a collective activity where you contribute your share in the common project. Therefore you accept that, while you can include the ECOWEEK project in your private portfolio and get credit for it, it has to mention explicitly that this work 'was performed during ECOWEEK' and the copyright to the collective work belongs to ECOWEEK. INSURANCE & TERMS & CONDITIONS ECOWEEK hosts its events in venues that are accessible, healthy and safe. Travel between, to and/or from ECOWEEK events is the responsibility of each participant. ECOWEEK participants are advised and encouraged to purchase a travel and health insurance that will cover them for the unlikely event of an accident. With their registration to ECOWEEK, participants agree that ECOWEEK has no responsibility for injury or damage or theft of private property during ECOWEEK events. In particular workshops involving outdoor activity, site visits and/or light construction or physical work.: Regarding Workshop W8 that involves a site visit to the West Bank town of Azaryia (Bethany): ECOWEEK participants, with your participation in this workshop, you agree that you are entering the West Bank at your own risk and responsibility, that you take full and sole responsibility for yourself, your security and health, and that you waive any claim for responsibility or compensation from ECOWEEK, its legal representatives, its partners, the workshop leaders and any other legal entity directly or indirectly involved in the organization and implementation of ECOWEEK 2012 in the Middle East in general and Workshop W8 in particular. In addition, with your registration you agree that in case the site/outdoor location you visit, work or engage in light construction or other physical activity, is not properly or legaly insured or protected by its legal owner, you waive any claim towards ECOWEEK and/or its legal representatives, for responsibility and/or compensation in case of accident, injury or death, and for any damage or theft of private property while you are at the site, or you travel towards and/or from the site.
